Winston Howes.

A hopeless romantic + 6,000 oak trees in the shape of heart = a tribute to Winston Howes late wife.

When Howe's wife passed away over a decade ago, he meticulously planned and planted the oak trees around a six-acre field of grass to create the heart shape, with the design’s bottom tip pointing in the direction of his wifes childhood home in Wotton Hill.

A tall hedge of daffodils surrounds the heart’s perimeter that creates an unmistakable warm yellow glow that planes and hot air ballooners alike cannot miss. Read more of the story here.
