31st Day Born.

These invites were design for a special young lady whose birthday is on a spooktacular day!

For the past two year's I've been blessed with the opportunity to design birthday celebration invites for this family. The mom usually calls me up and puts the daughter on the phone and we're off talking about her big day!

My Silence.

thankful for life - yes i am
i cherish each day
this week i've tripled it.
i've spent extra hours playing with the little man
both of us tired - trying to out play each other
falling asleep and waking up with extra special good mornings
not caring about anything else

today the day has come...
the day i tucked into my mind until this very moment
i have 2.5 hrs left
soon they'll gather
they will be carefully talking, scalpel in hand
i will not be aware of anything that's going on around me
i however, will be in silence...
in a distant place
holding on to faith
because tomorrow I'm looking forward to quadrupling the time spent with my son.

One Fall Weekend.

10AM - Morning Melodies @ the library

12PM - Pumpkin picking, admiring the display of decorative holiday trees, and chatting with old friends

2PM - Lunch at our favorite spot, making wishes at the Town Centers fountain & people watching

4 PM - back home relaxing

I couldn't have asked for a better fall weekend.
