Easy.

In passing, you think:

"Life is easy for her"; or
"Wow life was good for him, he has such an easy life"; or
"Those kids had it easy growing up"

and then you walk a mile in their shoes and find out
...things really weren't just that easy!

  2. Things are never really easy, are they? We're all walking around feeling wounded and wishing for what someone else has. The trick -- the hard part -- is breaking out of that funk.

  4. What a great image! And even when you walk in their shoes, you're doing it at a different time; you can never take the same path twice

  5. This is very insightful and thought provoking. I think we all, at one time or another, have been guilty of judging too quickly. Thanks for the reminder!

  7. Surely, covers are made to pretend life is easy ;)
